FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE "Bring Baby Home" WORKSHOP
Q) Can I come to the workshop alone? My partner does not want to come.
A) This program is not recommended for individuals. It is intended for couples, and many of the skills and time spent on relationship exercises are only valuable when 2 people are present.
Q) We are in the process of adopting a baby. Would this workshop be appropriate for us?
A) Yes. Definitely.
Q) Can we bring our children to the workshop?
A) This workshop is designed for couples and because it requires focus on each other, other children would be a distraction that would hinder everyone in attendance.
Q) What about babies? We didn't hear about this workshop until after our baby was born and it sounds like just the kind of experience we need. I am breast feeding and I don't want to leave our baby with a babysitter.
A) Babes in arms are welcome, provided that you and your husband can agree ahead of time to be sensitive to the needs of others in the class.
Q) Do we have to attend the whole workshop or just the parts that address issues we are currently experiencing?
A) It is recommended that each couple attend the workshop in its entirety. The information provided and the skills that are taught are intended to build upon one another.
Q) Can we attend the workshop if we are not married?
A) Yes. Unmarried, cohabitiating and same sex couples are encouraged to participate.
This workshop is an independent offering, not owned or sponsored by BBH LLC. BBHonline.org
